Electricity Activities

These are very simple activities based around the Key Stage 1 curriculum topic of electricity. Some of these were created as part of the Interactive Learning Project at Chelmsford County High School.

Circuit symbols - a drop and drop exercise which requires matching the electric terms with electric symbols.
Circuit words - a drag and drop exercise which requires matching the electric words with the electric images.
Electricity words - a drag and drop exercise which requires matching the words with the electric objects.
What is wrong in the kitchen? - an exploring exercise which requires clicking on the areas on the picture to find the electrical dangers in the kitchen.
What is wrong in the living room? - an exploring exercise which requires clicking on the areas on the picture to find the electrical dangers in the living room.
Why won't this work? - a drag and drop exercise which requires deciding which electrical part is missing from the pictures.
Which room do the electrical objects belong to? - a drag and drop exercise which requires dragging the electric objects to the correct room in the house.
Match the battery with the right object - a drag and drop exercise which requires matching the batteries with the objects.
Does it use a battery? - a drag and drop exercise which requires sorting which of the objects use a battery.
Does it use mains electricity? - a drag and drop exercise which requires sorting which of the objects use mains electricity.
Will the bulb light up? - an exploring exercise which requires deciding which circuit will work and then clicking on the appropriate one.
